Engine Lathes
A lathe is a machine which spins a block of material to perform various operations such as cutting, knurling, drilling, reaming, surface processing or deformation wit tools that are applied to the work piece to create an object which is symmetric around an axis of rotation. |
  |
This is a common lathe of its early model, with its motion driven by a belt from a rotating gear, which also controls the motion speed. This might result in possible wearing and sliding. The machine is widely applied in hardware processing.

Polishing Machine (wet polish)
Designed, devised and manufactured by the owner. The main structure is composed of a motor, belts, gears, an octagonal barrel and a stent.
Through horizontal rotations, the barrel-lined on the inside with PU plastic – could perform polishing which could endure acid, bear the daily wear-and-tear, and reduce noise.
|
  |
More importantly, it also prevents damage to the work piece. The barrel is free to turn forwards and backwards, which made the addition of material convenient. Of all the types of polishing machines, it is model which is the most simple and convenient to operate.
When the barrel rotates, the water (wet polish) or rattan beads (dry polish) would plastic work pieces insides, thus polishing the surface of these pieces. It is used for Mahjong and Tien Kou (Chinese dominoes).

Punching Machine
Punching Machine are widely used in making small parts of hardware and electronic goods.
Punching machine is used for punching holes, bending, light stretching and forming processes. By performing vertical stamping motions, punching machine can modify workpieces as the shape of the mold. A major equipment in manufacturing hardware accessories, like Chinese lock plate, pipe anchors, hooks and buckles. |
  |
Since the heavy upper structure of punching machines, the safety design of such early models are not sufficient, causing lots of industrial accidents. Most factory owner would equip a self-developed protective cover, to reduce ricks during working.

Shoe Molds
The process of shoemaking includes: cutting of materials, sewing surface, fixing bottom and finishing. First, shoemaking measure the dimensions of the foot, then cut the sample sheet, accompanied with the selected fabricate a pair of shoe heels and through shoe molds to fabricate a pair of shoes.
Most factory buildings usually have high ceilings, and operators will make good use of the space by erecting mezzanines for industrial storage. |
